The automobile company ‘Jeep’ has been currently updating one of the company’s smallest SUVs with the new technologies and a redesigned interior ahead of the company’s push into the electric vehicles.
The new features on the Jeep Compass 2022 are also going to include the blind-spot monitoring and active emergency braking system as the standard safety technologies along with a driver assist highway system and an option of 10-inch interior screens.
Jeep’s compact Compass SUV has been the best-selling vehicle of the company across the globe, and the new model of the company is now scheduled to arrive in the showrooms of North America in the coming season, along with a starting price range of 24,995 dollars and 500 dollars more than the current model.
Jim Morrison, head of Jeep North America said, the new added features and the refreshed design are basically introduced for the purpose of making the Compass even more desirable in the continuously growing competitive segment of small SUVs, and many of the updates had been focusing on the technology and interior design of the vehicle, as the exterior features are going to have some minor changes for the purpose of matching the other SUVs in a better way in the line-up of Jeep.
Chris Benjamin, North American director of interior design of Jeep said, their main goal for making the changes was to increase the expectations of the consumer of what an interior of a compact SUV should feel and look like.
