The company Moderna Inc., a biotechnology company, which is responsible in pioneering the mRNA therapeutics and vaccine developer, have announced an agreement with the government of Argentina for the supply of 20 million dose of the novel corona virus vaccine developed by Moderna or the updated booster of the vaccine for the covid-19 variant for starting the delivery in the first quarter of 2022.
Stephane Bancel, CEO of Moderna said, they really appreciate the support from the government of Argentina and with the help of this supply agreement for the novel corona virus vaccine doses of Moderna or the covid-19 variant booster vaccine candidates, and they are committed for making their corona virus vaccine available around the world as the company is seeking to address the novel corona virus pandemic with their vaccine. The CEO added that, they are hoping that, this agreement will the people of Argentina to fight against the corona virus.
The covid-19 vaccine developed by Moderna is an mRNA vaccine, which is used against covid-19 for the prefusion stabilized form of the spike protein, and the company has also received the emergency approval for the use of the covid-19 vaccine in the adult people coming from the health agencies in over 50 countries and also an emergency use listing from the WHO.
The company has also filed for getting the approval for emergency use of the novel corona virus vaccine in the people working in the health agencies across the world.
