Neptune Energy, a private equity-backed operator, has signed a series of the new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the purpose of progressing with the company’s proposed blue hydrogen and carbon dioxide transport along with the storage on the east coast of United Kingdom.
Neptune Energy has also signed a Memorandum of Understanding with an organization, that has been specialized in the production of the industrial gas for the purpose of developing the blue hydrogen facility, that will be located at the former Theddlethorpe Gas Terminal (TGT) site in the United Kingdom.
The company has also signed several other MoUs with Carbon Collectors, a company, that is specialized in the process of transportation, collection and storage of carbon dioxide by using the marine-based solutions and with the help of a power production company, which is going to have the emitted carbon dioxide stored by the Neptune Energy.
Pierre Girard, director of new energy of Neptune Energy said, the project had evolved from a high-level concept into a detailed technical proposal within a period of short time and the company along with its partners have also been committed some significant resource along with the expertise for the purpose of bringing the proposal to such level of maturity.
He also said, their experience in the process of delivering the offshore energy projects that are technically similar to the CCS offering at the company DelpHYnus has also been complemented by the expertise of their partners as one of the lowest carbon gas generator of United Kingdom.
