Beyond Meat Launched Meat-Free Chicken Tenders in Restaurants of US

On Thursday, 8^th July 2021, the company ‘Beyond Meat’ said, a new version of the company’s meat-free chicken tenders is going to debut in around 400 restaurants across the United States of America.

The tenders are now going to become the first substitute of Beyond Chicken available across the United States in over two years, and in early 2019, the company has stopped the original chicken alternative, along with the frozen chicken strips for continuing its focus of the Beyond Burger.

Ethan Brown, CEO of Beyond Meat said, the demand for the beef products of the Beyond Meat have also started to take up to the point, where they really had to allocate all of the production capacity for it, and hence they have decided for stopping the original chicken alternative, which had also been motivated by the fact that, they have been wanting to make it even better.

Ethan Brown also said, the chicken tenders of the company been priced so that, the product of Beyond Meat can possibly be sold across the restaurant industry, and the recipe of the company had been created with the scale in mind so that, it can possibly continue to decrease the prices of the products as the tenders become more widely available.

The foodservice segment of the company, that mainly includes the sales to the office buildings, universities and restaurants, has been battering by the novel corona virus pandemic, and in around the revenue of the food service of Beyond Meat in the United States have been decreased by 26 percent.
